Established in 2013 and based in Piraeus, Saronic Ferries is a ferry company connecting the main port of Athens, Piraeus, to the picturesque islands of the Saronic Gulf, including Aegina, Agistri, Methana, and Poros. These islands, located in close proximity to the Greek capital, make them popular destinations for both visitors and permanent residents.

Saronic Ferries is committed to offering affordable prices and a convenient timetable to enhance the travel experience for its passengers. Typically, the company ensures at least one daily route to each destination, catering to the diverse needs of travelers.

The fleet of Saronic Ferries comprises five modern passenger ferries: Phivos, Achaios, Apollon Hellas, Antigoni, and Poseidon Hellas. These vessels are equipped with amenities such as a garage for cars and other vehicles, a snack-bar, facilities for disabled passengers, and a designated outdoor area for pets.

To further accommodate passengers, Saronic Ferries provides discounts to certain categories of travelers, including those journeying with their cars. The company supports the use of electronic tickets, adding convenience to the booking process.

Operating throughout the year, Saronic Ferries ensures safe and reliable transportation, particularly for those who regularly commute between Athens and the Saronic islands for professional reasons. • Very good

The company was very good, the time schedule was accurate.

  • Ferry to Aegina

We enjoyed our ferry rides so much, and it was very affordable. We loved the top deck option, and we were very glad their were drinks/water to purchase on board.

  • Luggage

Carrying heavy luggage from the entrance up to the deck and back is very hard.Although one boat had escalators, only selected travellers could use them....
